Jasper Walton is a musician, recording engineer, and producer. Born and raised in Oregon, he graduated from the University of Oregon with a BS in music in 2017. Since then, he has worked as a recording engineer at the U of O, as well as in recording studios around the country, and has built and operated his own home studio. In addition to his recording studio work, Jasper has extensive experience with live-sound production, working at local performing arts centers like The Hult Center, The MacDonald Theater, The Wildish Theater, and the Cuthbert Amphitheater, as well as summer music festivals across the state and the nation with acts like Jacob Collier, Thomas Mapfumo, Matisyahu, national touring productions, and Broadway shows.

Most recently, he held a position at The Hit Factory NYC, one of the most established and prolific recording studios in New York, where he worked with clients like Nas, Tate McRae, Steve Jordan (The Rolling Stones), Joy Oladokun, and many others.

Jasper has recorded or mixed many local ensembles including: Orchestra Next, Eugene Symphony, Chamber Music Amici, Oregon Mozart Players, Høstedans, Violette, and extensive faculty recording projects for the University of Oregon. His work has been featured on labels like Naxos, MSR Classics, and others.

He has a deep love and appreciation for the transformative power of fine arts and the relationships we build through shared experiences around them.
