Undergraduate Audition Day Information

Be sure to review our Undergraduate Music Major Audition Requirements.

Auditions for music applicants take place in the MarAbel B. Frohnmayer Music Building, 961 East 18th Avenue, Eugene, OR 97403. You can also Google "Beall Concert Hall" and that will direct you to the School of Music and Dance.

Metered and free parking can usually be found in the vicinity of the building, though be sure to note posted restrictions. Many visitors to campus can find metered parking on the streets adjacent to campus, or in the hourly parking lot on the north end of the building.

A map or campus showing buildings and parking can be found below.

Plan to arrive at least thirty minutes before your first audition or meeting. Our registration table will be located in the Exine Bailey Lounge, which can be found on the first floor of the Frohnmayer Music Building, near the south end of the building. When you check in at the table we will provide you with maps and detailed instructions regarding your audition day.

All of our practice rooms will be available on audition days. Access procedures will be provided upon check-in.

We suggest wearing neat, clean clothing appropriate for a daytime performance. Full formal concert dress is not necessary.

Dance attire: No specific apparel required. Dancers may wear shoes for ballet and hip hop but can be barefoot otherwise.
