A native Oregonian and UO School of Music and Dance alumnus (BA ’98), James has enjoyed a varied career as an administrator, performer, and educator. He comes to the OBF from the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, where he initially served as Director of Artistic Planning and Production, became the Interim Managing Director, and eventually spent six years as the Chief Executive Officer.
