Wakako Stevens has a human resources and guest services background working for Hyatt hotels in Kyoto, Tokyo, and San Francisco for the past nine years. Most recently she was Human Resources Generalist, then Training Manager at the Hyatt Regency Kyoto. She worked closely with employees to help them achieve their goals and create a better work environment, as well as striving to build long-term relationships with guests in hospitality.

In addition to assisting the director of development in the fundraising efforts of the UO School of Music and Dance, Wakako is also responsible for building programs, activities, and relationships with the school’s larger community of alumni, donors, parents, and friends, to foster and strengthen constituent relationships.
