Prior to his University of Oregon appointment Thor lived in Arizona, where he worked as the Production and Stage Manager for the Music Department at Mesa Community College, and as a local Actors Equity Association Stage Manager for Southwest Shakespeare Company.

Thor also has a performance background, performing with Arizona State University’s Lyric Opera Theatre, the Eugene Opera, Opera Bend, and others.

The Production Manager is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and supervising events in Beall Concert Hall and other performance classrooms. The Production Manager represents Beall Concert Hall and the School of Music and Dance during events on campus. The Production Manager is also charged with the responsibility of overseeing and maintaining the school’s musical instrument inventory and rental program.
