Sara Spicer joined the School of Music and Dance as Admissions Assistant in June 2012. This position processes undergraduate and graduate admissions materials and provides clerical support for both offices, including maintaining files and databases. This position assists in recruitment, prepares and mails inquiry packets, and provides admission materials to prospective students. After students are admitted, the Admissions Assistant informs them about deadlines and missing application materials, assists with scholarship notification, schedules and coordinates music school auditions, and assists the Director of Admissions during audition weekends. This position also provides administrative support for Oregon Summer Music Camps, including contracts, accounting, and arranging camper room and board. Sara was previously assistant to the CEO at the head office of the Fifth Street Public Market and has prior experience as customer events coordinator for a local corporation.
