Music and Dance Networking Fair Connects Students with Arts Professionals

Ever wonder what it takes to turn your interest in arts performance, production or management into a career?  Find out at UO’s Music and Dance Networking Fair on Friday, January 21st from 1:00 - 4:00 PM in Aasen-Hull Hall (Room 190) at the Frohnmayer Music Building.

The event will feature several tables hosted by arts leaders and industry experts from organizations including: The Shedd Institute, Eugene Ballet, The Jazz Station, Sprout City Studios and Lane Arts Council.

Students will have the opportunity to get one-on-one advice from area veterans about everything from how to book gigs, to running a non-profit arts organization, or starting your own entrepreneurial entertainment venture. The event also includes interdisciplinary industry experts from across the university, including academic advisors from the School of Planning, Public Policy and Management (PPPM) and the Lundquist College of Business.
